So my in-laws are in town now and Lacy will be here in like 9 hours! I am so excited. Every year Lacy and I make sugar cookies and then Aaron has to judge who decorated them the best. I have yet to win! I am going to win this year I just know it. I am pregnant so I will play that card if it means winning the title of "Best Dressed Sugar Cookie". I love family and I love the holidays.
I am still trying to figure out how to work this darned blog thing! I loved to journal in high school and college but have gotten away from it. So I am hoping this can be an outlet for me. I am so excited, Aaron's parents are coming tomorrow and so is my youngest sister Lacy. They will both be here for a week. There will be cooking and laughing and definitely game playing. I love family and I love the holidays. I have almost a week and half off. That will be nice since our new home is still in a state of disarray. On Saturday I will be 12 weeks along. It is still hard to believe that I am pregnant. We are both so excited and I cant wait to have this little baby here. I read about my friends and their experiences with their babies and I am so excited and anxious. I still have a long way to go but I really cant wait! We got about 1o inches of snow at our house last week. Las Vegas has not seen that much snow in 30 years. It was beautiful. When I have some free time I will post some pictures.
And baby makes 3! We are so excited to be expecting our first child. I am almost 9 weeks along. We have had our first ultra sound and our little "peanut" is still so tiny. Our families know and they are all very excited for us. Aaron's family wants a girl and mine wants a boy. So we shall see in a couple of months what this little person will be.
Aaron and I moved to Las Vegas almost two years ago. It has been an adventure learning and living in a new place. We miss our family alot but we know that one day we will be back closer to them. We love spending time as a family, cuddling with Kennedy Grace and loving on our two dogs. We love Jesus and we are continually being humbled by how wonderful He is. We are constantly experiencing the grace of God in this whole experience.
